Prior to founding Ironleaf, T.J. was a Partner at both Veritas Capital and Abry Partners, where he held a senior role on each firm's investment teams. T.J. began his career at McKinsey & Company and Goldman Sachs, and he subsequently spent time as a Vice President on the investment team at Audax Private Equity.

Originally from Tallahassee, FL, T.J. earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Florida A&M University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mike is a Partner on the Investment Team. Prior to joining Ironleaf, Mike was a Managing Director at Vestar Capital Partners, where he led the healthcare sector team. Prior to Vestar, Mike was a senior healthcare-focused investment professional at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe and Pamplona Capital Management. Earlier in his career, Mike worked in the healthcare group at Oak Hill Capital Partners and Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division.

Originally from South Florida, Mike received a B.S.E in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.

Oni Chukwu is a Partner in the Management Solutions Group. Oni is an accomplished technology executive, investor, and board leader with a track record of driving growth and transformation across enterprise and healthcare software sectors. He has led multiple successful exits, including as CEO of Aventri and as Executive VP & CFO of Triple Point Technology, an Abry Partners portfolio company. In healthcare, Oni helped build Healthcare Software Synergies (HSS), a software provider to 600+ hospitals and the top 6 health management organizations which exited to United Healthcare in 2001. Oni was also Operating Partner at Abry Partners 2019 through 2022. Oni serves on boards of public and private companies, including Yale Ventures.

At Ironleaf, Oni draws on more than two decades of operating experience in strategy, M&A, and value creation to help build category-defining healthcare platforms. In particular, he is skilled in technology transitions, including within health technology.

Originally from Nigeria, Oni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Institute of Management & Technology, Nigeria, an MBA and honorary Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of New Haven.

Mary Catherine is a Partner within the Management Solutions Group. Mary Catherine is an accomplished founder, executive, and board leader with a track record of driving growth and transformation in the healthcare sector. Mary Catherine was co-founder and CEO of HealthSCOPE Benefits, one of the nation's largest full-service TPAs serving self-funded employers. HealthSCOPE Benefits was acquired by Abry Partners in 2014 and achieved a successful exit in 2019 to UnitedHealth Group. After two years at United as a senior executive, Mary Catherine has served on multiple boards of fast-growing, innovative healthcare technology companies, including Pareto Health.

At Ironleaf, Mary Catherine draws on more than three decades of operating experience in strategy, M&A, and value creation to help build category-defining healthcare platforms. In particular, she brings a wealth of insight and relationships regarding technology and tech-enabled solutions serving in the payer/employer end-market.

Originally from Auburn, AL, Mary Catherine received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude from the School of Public and International Policy at Princeton University.

Wilson is a Principal on the Investment Team. Prior to joining Ironleaf, Wilson was a Principal at Vestar Capital Partners, working there for over eight years in the healthcare sector team. Wilson began his career in the investment banking division at J.P. Morgan.

Originally from Memphis, TN, Wilson graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill, where he was a Robertson Scholar. Wilson received his B.S. in Business Administration from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

John is a Vice President on the Investment Team. Prior to joining Ironleaf, John was a Vice President at Great Point Partners, a healthcare private equity firm. John began his career at Edgemont Partners, a healthcare investment bank. John first met T.J. in 2020 through a transaction they worked on together, while John was at Edgemont and T.J. was at Abry.

Originally from San Francisco, John received a B.A. in Economics and a M.A. in Finance from Claremont McKenna College, where he played on the baseball team.

Thomas is an Associate on the Investment Team. Prior to joining Ironleaf, Thomas was an Associate on the healthcare team at Piper Sandler.

Originally from San Francisco, Thomas holds a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University.

Eitan is a Vice President of Finance at Ironleaf. Prior to joining Ironleaf, Eitan served at HighCape Capital as a Controller, where he managed day-to-day fund accounting activities and coordinated with audit and tax professionals for comprehensive financial reporting. Eitan began his career as an audit manager at Grant Thornton, where he oversaw audits of private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, and management companies.

Originally from New Jersey, Eitan holds an M.B.A in Professional Accounting from Rutgers Business School and B.A. in Psychology from Yeshiva University, where he played on the basketball team.
